Thirteen years ago, thanks to a confluence of a pu

Thirteen years ago, thanks to a confluence of a public holiday & professor furlough days in the wake of the financial crisis, i had a week & half off in the middle of term. Seizing the window to do something outside that didn’t require ahead reservations, i drove off to Zion for the first time. I was already in love with the Colorado Plateau, but that trip cemented it. Here’s to many more years of beautiful rocks, desert smells, and stunning colors.
